A Park Model cabin is a type of small, portable cabin, certified and registered as an RV. Park Models are sometimes called Recreational Park Trailers or Tiny Homes. They are pre-built on a trailer frame, and ready to hook up to electric, water, and sewer. Park Models are designed to be moved if needed, but are usually parked in one place for a long time. Since they’re built on a trailer frame, they don’t need a permanent foundation like a regular house would. Instead, they can be set on a stone or concrete pad classed as Park Model RVs, permits and property taxes usually don’t apply! (However, local codes and regulations vary, so a quick check with your local municipality is always worthwhile.)

In short, a decent used park model can be as low as 30,000, but a high-quality luxury model can set you back as much as 150,000.

But when talking about the cost, there are a lot of factors to consider, such as do you prefer to purchase your tiny home from a big corporation, or would you rather work with a small family business to design your own personal tiny home?
